POP3 protocol description

POP3 procotoll - Mail download protocol

The POP3 protocol allows you to access your email using a mail client (e.g. Outlook, Thunderbird) that supports it.

When using POP3, the client will by default delete the mail from the mail server after it has been downloaded. This means that mail is only stored until it is downloaded by the mail client. Thus, the number of emails that can be stored is limited only by the free hard disk capacity of your computer.

Most mail clients can be set to keep mail on the server for a certain period of time. In this case, you should check whether the email storage quota allocated to your mailbox has been used up. If necessary, you will need to delete some mail from your mailbox via the Webmail interface or assign an additional quota to the email address.
