FTP - File Transfer Protocol

What is FTP?

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol, which is a standard for file transfer.

Using FTP is probably the easiest way to access, upload, download, modify and delete files from a folder on your server, protected by a username and password.

Once you have the hosting FTP ID and password, you will have access to the remote server, where you can access the uploaded content, retrieve certain files and upload files (e.g. your own web pages to your web storage space).
