Using mail management program

For the convenience using of mailboxes, our company provides both IMAP and POP3 protocols.

This allows you to easily set up your mailbox in mail management programs (e.g. Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) and on your phone (Android, Iphone).

For a brief description of the main differences between IMAP and POP3, click here. When using multiple devices (computers and phones) at the same time, it is recommended to use the IMAP protocol.

We provide our customers with a free SMTP service, with the possibility of sending 100 emails per day per mailbox, with a maximum of 10 simultaneous recipients.

Mail using the IMAP protocol:
(recommended if using multiple devices)

Inbox server: imap.mediacenter.hu
Outgoing server: imap.mediacenter.hu
Inbox Port: 143 (993 with SSL )
Outgoing Port: 25000 (465 with SSL)

Username: the full email address you want to set up (in the form teszt@teszt.hu)
Password: the password associated with the email address

Important: sending requires authentication! The username/password pair is the same for both sending and receiving.

Mail using the POP3 protocol:

Inbox server: pop3.mediacenter.hu
Outgoing server: pop3.mediacenter.hu
Inbox Port: 110 (995 with SSL )
Outgoing Port: 25000 (465 with SSL)

Username: the full email address you want to set up (in the form teszt@teszt.hu)
Password: the password associated with the email address
